Penobscot River Bibliography

The Synthesis bibliography is a compilation of books, reports, journal articles, studies, videos, sound recordings, maps, and datasets for the mainstem of the river, estuary, and upper bay (Medway to Belfast and Castine) from 1900 to the present. Relevant references for the upper drainage basins are also included (for example, documents pertaining to fish passage). Each entry contains notes on document content, metadata, and links to Web sites and PDF files whenever possible.

This bibliography was developed in cooperation with PEARL and the Gulf of Maine Council on the Marine Environment as part of the Knowledge Base for the Gulf of Maine Watershed.
