Distribution Maps by Family These species distribution maps were created from multiple data sources as compiled in the Maine Aquatic Biodiversity Project database. Maps are available only for those species for which there are known “point” collection sites; species geo-referenced only to the state level are omitted. Red dots indicate species records. Small black dots indicate all other sites from which caddisfly data are available. Please note that distribution maps for caddisfly families are currently available only as pdf documents.
