Interactive Maps

The first of PEARL’s interactive mapping modules focuses on the Atlantic salmon watersheds, and includes both water quality and biological data. A second mapping module (BioImp) provides information on macro-invertebrate communities of streams and wetlands. BioImp is developed by Maine Department of Environmental Protection and is currently in the beta-testing stage. In collaboration with College of the Atlantic and the Union River Watershed Coalition, we have developed a module focusing on Mount Desert Island and the Union River watershed. This mapping project features fisheries and other biological data, in addition to key water quality information.

Additional mapping modules will be developed in the future.
